Dove Cameron canta “Genie in a Bottle”, la canzone di Christina Aguilera!

Dove Cameron, la giovane attrice resa nota per aver interpretato Mal (la figlia di Malefica) in Descendants, è la protagonista del nuovo video musicale caricato su uno dei canali di YouTube ufficiali della The Walt Disney Company.

La ragazza si è trovata a reinterpretare nei panni del persona che l’ha resa celebra su Disney Channel una nota canzone di Christina Aguilera, Genie in the Bottle.

La scelta è dovuta al fatto che nella serie animata Descendants: Wicked World, spin-off del film di cui è stato recentemente annunciato il sequel, è stato inserito il personaggio di Jordan (interpretato da Iman Karran), figlio del Genio di Aladdin.

Ecco la sinossi ufficiale del film uscito mesi fa: Gli iconici personaggi Disney stanno vivendo il loro lieto fine a Auradon, un idillico regno dei nostri giorni. Tutti i cattivi sconfitti sono stati esiliati in una isola remota conosciuta come “l’Isola dei Perduti”, dove passeranno il resto della loro vita isolati dai moderni lussi di Auradon. Dopo molti anni, il figlio adolescente della Regina Belle e Re Bestia è in procinto di ascendere al trono. Nel suo primo proclama, decide di offrire una possibilità di riscatto ai figli adolescenti dei cattivi esiliati sull’Isola dei Perduti. I discendenti di Malefica, la Regina Cattiva, Crudelia De Mon  e Jafar sono ammessi ad accedere al regno di Auradon per frequentare la scuola insieme ai figli degli eroi Disney. I genitori scellerati vedono questo come la possibilità di utilizzare i loro figli per realizzare un piano malvagio che finalmente li libererà dall’Isola dei Perduti. I ragazzi cattivi seguiranno le orme dei loro genitori malvagi quando saranno ad Auradon?.
