Annie Awards, Coco conquista 13 nomination agli Oscar dell'animazione

Sono state annunciate oggi le nomination per la 45esima edizione degli Annie Awards, i cosiddetti “Oscar dell’animazione” che ogni anno premiano i migliori lungometraggi, i corti e le migliori serie animate.
A ottenere il maggior numero di nomination quest’anno è stato il film Pixar Coco, con ben 13 nomination tra cui Miglior Film e Miglior Regia a Lee Unkrich. Ma non solo: il cartoon sul Messico concorre anche nei premi legati alla sceneggiatura, alle musiche, all’animazione e persino al doppiaggio, per l’interpretazione del giovane Anthony Gonzalez nel ruolo di Miguel.
Segue per numero di nomination l’irlandese The Breadwinner, dello studio Cartoon Saloon (La Canzone del Mare), che si conferma così frontrunner anche per una nomination agli Oscar 2018. Tra i 10 premi che potrebbe vincere agli Annie Awards c’è anche la Miglior Regia per Nora Twomey, l’unica donna ad aver diretto un film d’animazione nel 2017.
Tra gli altri film nominati troviamo altri successi del 2017 come Cattivissimo Me 3, Cars 3, Ferdinand, Capitan Mutanda e Baby Boss.
Gli altri riconoscimenti per la Disney arrivano nel campo dell’animazione televisiva con i corti della serie Mickey Mouse, il nuovo show per bambini Topolino e gli amici del rally e la serie di Rapunzel.

La Disney vince 17 premi agli Annie Awards, Inside Out è il miglior film

La Disney ha dominato gli Annie Awards, i premi dedicati interamente all’animazione, vincendo ben 18 statuette.

Tra esse, addirittura 10 sono toccate ad Inside Out, il capolavoro Pixar di Pete Docter che ha ottenuto anche i riconoscimenti per miglior film e miglior regia. L’Oscar non sembra ormai molto lontano.

Annie Awards: la Pixar protagonista dei premi dell’animazione

È la Pixar a dominare le nomination della 43esima edizione degli Annie Awards, i premi riservati all’animazione. Vincitore assoluto è Inside Out, con ben 14 nomination, seguito a breve distanza da Il Viaggio di Arlo con 10.

Per scoprire chi sarà a trionfare bisognerà aspettare il 6 febbraio 2016, giorno dell’assegnazione dei premi.

Vincitore assoluto della 42esima edizione degli Annie Awards (considerati “gli Oscar dell’animazione”) è stato Dragon Trainer 2, per la DreamWorks Animation. La storia di Hiccup e Sdentato ha portato a casa sia il premio per il Miglior Film che quello per la Miglior Regia.
