10 curiosità su Cameron Boyce

• La carriera di Cameron è cominciata da piccolissimo, all’età di 7 anni, quando iniziò a posare come modello per alcune case di moda.
• Già a 8 anni Cameron cominciò a recitare davanti alla telecamera, in particolare nel video musicale della fortunata band Panic! At the Disco: That green gentleman.

• Ma le curiosità su Cameron Boyce prima della sua collaborazione con la Disney non finiscono qui. Nel 2008 recitò nel ruolo di Michael “Stone” Cates Jr. nella soap opera General Hospital: Night Shift. Sempre nello stesso anno apparve come Michael Carson in un film horror dal nome Riflessi di paura e come Sam Holloman nel film Eagle Eye con Shia LaBeouf.
• Boyce recitò nel ruolo di Keithie Feder nei film Un weekend da bamboccioni e Un weekend da bamboccioni 2 accanto ad Adam Sandler, nel 2010. Sandler ha voluto ricordare il giovane attore in un toccante tweet lo scorso anno: “Troppo giovane. Troppo dolce. Troppo divertente. • Una curiosità su Cameron Boyce riguarda un premio da lui ricevuto nel 2018. Ebbene, all’annuale gala del Thirst Project, un’organizzazione no-profit che sanifica l’acqua nei paesi del terzo mondo, Cameron venne premiato col Pioneering Spirit Award. Boyce, infatti, aveva aiutato a raccogliere più di $30,000 per l’organizzazione in modo da costruire dei pozzi nello Swaziland, nell’Africa meridionale.
• Per i fan Disney Cameron Boyce è diventato un volto noto per due principali prodotti. Nel 2011 ha recitato per Disney Channel nella sitcom Jessie il ruolo di Lucas “Luke” Philbert Ross, mentre nel franchise Descendants, ha impersonato Carlos, il figlio di Crudelia De Mon.

• Oltre che un eccellente attore e cantante, Cameron Boyce era anche un talentuoso ballerino, come ha dimostrato nelle scene musicali dei film di Descendants.
• Una curiosità su Cameron Boyce che riguarda il suo ruolo di Luke nella serie Jessie sorprenderà tutti i fan. Boyce non era inizialmente in lizza per recitare nei panni di questo personaggio. La produzione, infatti, avrebbe voluto un attore asiatico. Quando Cameron fece il provino, tuttavia, piacque così tanto ai responsabili del casting che gli sceneggiatori riscrissero il personaggio di Luke specificatamente per lui.
• Dopo i ruoli alla Disney, Cameron aveva in mente di recitare fuori dalla Casa del Topo e aveva appena firmato due contratti per grandi produzioni. In particolare, sarebbe stato il protagonista Cal del film indie Runt e sarebbe apparso nella serie comedy dell’HBO Mrs. Fletcher.

• Dopo la tragica morte dell’attore, avvenuta lo scorso 6 luglio 2019, la Walt Disney Company ha dichiarato di aver cancellato la première di Descendants 3, programmata per il 22 luglio. Disney, inoltre, fece una donazione all’organizzazione no-profit Thirst Project dichiarando che, col permesso della famiglia Boyce, avrebbe dedicato la trasmissione televisiva di Descendants 3 a Cameron.

È certo che Cameron Boyce rimarrà per sempre nei cuori di tutti i suoi fan e di tutto il mondo dello spettacolo. A un anno dalla sua scomparsa queste curiosità non fanno che ricordarci che talentuoso e premuroso giovane uomo fosse.

Nel Disney Channel Original Movie, Mal tornerà sull’Isola degli Sperduti dove la sua acerrima nemica Uma (figlia di Ursula) ha preso il suo posto come regina autoproclamata della città. Ancora risentita per non essere stata selezionata da Ben per andare ad Auradon, Uma trama vendetta contro i buoni e soprattutto contro Mal.

Il trailer ci mostra più nel dettaglio la storia del sequel: non riuscendo più a sopportare le pressioni della sua vita da principessa, Mal (che su Auradon ritroviamo con i capelli biondi invece che viola) decide di tornare sull’Isola degli Sperduti per ritrovare le sue origini cattive. Quando il principe Ben decide di seguirla per chiederle scusa, viene rapito da Uma, figlia di Ursula ed eterna rivale di Mal, che vuole vendicarsi per il suo tradimento e ottenere la bacchetta della Fata Madrina per liberare tutti i cattivi.

Il film arriverà in tv in America il 21 luglio 2017, mentre per il momento non abbiamo novità sulla data d’uscita in Italia.

Il film sarà trasmesso il 21 luglio 2017 su ben cinque canali americani unificati: Disney Channel, Disney XD, ABC, Freeform e Lifetime. La decisione fa parte di un progetto che mira a far interagire il più possibile i vari network televisivi Disney, a collegarli con le loro espansioni digitali tramite streaming e applicazioni, e ovviamente a rispondere alle richieste dei fan. Descendants ha infatti ottenuto un successo straordinario, pari solo a quello dello storico High School Musical, il film che ha incassato di più nella storia degli originali di Disney Channel.

In questo sequel, Mal (Dove Cameron) e i suoi amici torneranno sull’Isola degli Sperduti per ritrovare le loro origini cattive dopo essersi convertiti al bene nel finale del primo film. Lì dovranno vedersela con Uma (figlia di Ursula interpretata da China Anne McLain), che ha convinto altri figli dei cattivi a rompere la barriera e liberare tutti i cattivi imprigionati sull’Isola.

Ovviamente vi terremo aggiornati anche sulla data della trasmissione italiana. Nel frattempo potete ascoltare la prima canzone oppure guardare il teaser trailer.

In questa nuova avventura infatti la figlia di Malefica sceglie di tornare alle sue origini sull’Isola degli Sperduti, dove nel frattempo la sua peggior nemica Uma, figlia di Ursula, le ha rubato il ruolo autoproclamandosi regina dei cattivi. Uma, offesa di non essere stata scelta dal principe Ben per vivere ad Auradon, raduna un gruppo di figli di cattivi (tra i quali troviamo il figlio di Capitan Uncino, Harry, e il figlio di Gaston, Gil) per rompere la barriera tra l’Isola degli Sperduti e Auradon liberando una volta per tutte i villain imprigionati.

E dopo aver visto il look dei protagonisti, ecco anche quello dei tre antagonisti interpretati da China Anne McClain (Uma), Thomas Doherty (Henry) e Dylan Playfair (Gil).

Come ogni seguito che si rispetti, anche Descendants 2 esplorerà ulteriormente il mondo delle fiabe con l’arrivo di nuovi personaggi tra cui Uma, la figlia di Ursula e i figli di Capitan Uncino e Gaston (entrambi ancora senza nome).

Il primo teaser trailer, infatti, ci anticipa proprio l’arrivo di Ursula e della figlia, che sarà interpretata dalla stella di Disney Channel China Anne McClain (A.N.T. Farm).

Inoltre, sembra proprio che il titolo Descendants 2, che fino a poco fa era ancora provvisorio, sia stato confermato come titolo ufficiale del sequel.

Oltre alla conferma del vecchio cast, China Anne McClain sarà una delle new-entries nei panni della figlia di Ursula, antagonista de La Sirenetta.

Ma le novità non sono destinate a terminare qui: sappiamo per certo che presto verranno annunciati anche i nomi dei ragazzi che interpreteranno i figli di Uncino e Gastone.

Il nuovo film approderà sempre su Disney Channel nel 2017.

Ecco la sinossi ufficiale del primo film: Gli iconici personaggi Disney stanno vivendo il loro lieto fine a Auradon, un idillico regno dei nostri giorni. Tutti i cattivi sconfitti sono stati esiliati in una isola remota conosciuta come “l’Isola dei Perduti”, dove passeranno il resto della loro vita isolati dai moderni lussi di Auradon. Dopo molti anni, il figlio adolescente della Regina Belle e Re Bestia è in procinto di ascendere al trono. Nel suo primo proclama, decide di offrire una possibilità di riscatto ai figli adolescenti dei cattivi esiliati sull’Isola dei Perduti. I discendenti di Malefica, la Regina Cattiva, Crudelia De Mon  e Jafar sono ammessi ad accedere al regno di Auradon per frequentare la scuola insieme ai figli degli eroi Disney. I genitori scellerati vedono questo come la possibilità di utilizzare i loro figli per realizzare un piano malvagio che finalmente li libererà dall’Isola dei Perduti. I ragazzi cattivi seguiranno le orme dei loro genitori malvagi quando saranno ad Auradon?.
