Come forse saprete, i registi di Frozen – Le Avventure di Olaf – Kevin Deters e Stevie Wermers-Skelton – hanno diretto lo speciale televisivo Lanny & Wayne (e il suo sequel, Lanny & Wayne: Buoni vs Cattivi), uscito nel 2009. Lanny e Wayne, dunque, non potevano che esser presenti sotto forma di sculture in legno sul caminetto di una famiglia che Olaf incontra per ricevere alcuni consigli sulle tradizioni natalizie.
 

Pochi di voi conosceranno La Ballata di Nessie, uno splendido cortometraggio in animazione tradizionale arrivato in sala (in America) precedendo Winnie The Pooh – Le Nuove Avventure nel Bosco dei Cento Acri. Diretto dagli stessi registi di Frozen – Le Avventure di Olaf, Kevin Deters e Stevie Wermers-Skelton, ecco perchè la protagonista si trova sulla slitta del pupazzo di neve più famoso di Arendelle.
 

Lo scorso anno è arrivato in sala Oceania, l’ultimo film dei Walt Disney Animation Studios. In Frozen – Le Avventure di Olaf, mentre Olaf continua imperterrito a chiedere al popolo le proprie tradizione natalizie, potete vedere in una bottiglia di vetro la miniatura della canoa di Vaiana, la protagonista della pellicola di John Musker e Ron Clements. 
 

Questa volta l’Easter Eggs è un riferimento all’universo di Frozen. Ricordate le due bambole di Anna ed Elsa? Ebbene, sembrano esser misteriosamente comparse nella camera di una delle bambine di Arendelle che Olaf incontra durante il suo viaggio.
 

Ad Arendelle c’è spazio veramente per tutti!
Persino per l’armatura di Baymax, in questa immagine ben nascosta nella slitta di Olaf.

Secondo John Lasseter questo è “un abbinamento perfetto: entrambi raccontano storie bellissime, incentrate sulla famiglia e sul modo in cui le persone portano avanti le proprie tradizioni”.
Dopo esser stato trasmesso su Disney Channel, è arrivato in sala precedendo Coco.

L’album comprenderà sette canzoni, una traccia strumentale e tre brani di karaoke. L’uscita è prevista per il 3 novembre 2017 sul suolo americano. Al momento non si sa se sarà distribuito anche in Italia.
