Diretto dai registi vincitori dell’Emmy Kevin Deters e Stevie Wermers-Skelton (Lanny & Wayne – Missione Natale), Frozen – Le Avventure di Olaf è prodotto dal premio Oscar Roy Conli (Big Hero 6) e include nuove canzoni originali scritte da Elyssa Samsel e Kate Anderson.
È stata confermata anche in Italia la distribuzione al cinema con il lungometraggio Coco, in uscita il 21 dicembre 2017. Secondo John Lasseter questo è “un abbinamento perfetto: entrambi raccontano storie bellissime, incentrate sulla famiglia e sul modo in cui le persone portano avanti le proprie tradizioni”.

L’album comprenderà sette canzoni, una traccia strumentale e tre brani di karaoke. L’uscita è prevista per il 3 novembre 2017 sul suolo americano. Al momento non si sa se sarà distribuito anche in Italia.

Inaspettatamente, però, tutti si allontanano per godersi le festività con i propri cari e le due sorelle si rendono conto di non avere nessuna tradizione familiare. Così Olaf intraprende un viaggio per tutto il regno alla ricerca delle migliori tradizioni natalizie per salvare il primo Natale dei suoi amici.

Come vi avevamo anticipato, arriverà al cinema a dicembre con il film Pixar Coco il prossimo appuntamento con le sorelle di Frozen, di ritorno per uno speciale natalizio incentrato su Olaf.
La soundtrack uscirà invece il 3 di novembre.

Olaf’s Frozen Adventure sarà un mediometraggio di circa 20 minuti che seguirà il pupazzo di neve nella sua ricerca di tradizioni di Natale. Dopo essere state separate tanti anni, infatti, Anna e Elsa sono alla ricerca di tradizioni dalla stabilire nella loro ritrovata famiglia e si faranno aiutare dal loro migliore amico e da Sven.

Ora, da Entertainment Weekly, arriva anche la prima foto ufficiale di questa nuova avventura ambientata ad Arendelle con Sven e Olaf come protagonisti.

Ve la mostriamo di seguito.

Il tema principale del cortometraggio saranno le tradizioni natalizie e l’assenza di queste dalla vita di Anna ed Elsa… almeno fin a ora. A Olaf e Sven il compito di viaggiare per il reame alla ricerca di decorazioni, alberi, usi e costumi fra risate, canzoni e personaggi già noti come il simpatico Oaken.

Olaf’s Frozen Adventure sarà diretto da Kevin Deters e Stevie Wermers-Skelton (Prep & Landing) mentre sarà prodotto da Roy Conli (Big Hero 6).

Kate Anderson e Elyssa Samsel saranno invece le autrici di ben quattro canzoni originali che i protagonisti del film vincitore di un premio Oscar interpreteranno.

Da quanto rivelato in modo sibillino, l’ex-speciale televisivo NON andrà più in onda sulla ABC il prossimo Natale bensì al cinema, accompagnando in sala Coco, il film dei Pixar Animation Studios che arriverà in sala il 22 novembre.

Rispetto a quanto annunciato non sembrano esserci riferimenti alla backstory di Kristoff. Al contrario parrebbe che il tema principale del cortometraggio saranno le tradizioni natalizie e l’assenza di queste dalla vita di Anna ed Elsa. A Olaf il compito di viaggiare per il regno alla ricerca di queste fra risate, canzoni e personaggi già visti come Oaken (questa volta nella sauna di famiglia).
